It is with great sadness that we report the passing of one of this country’s greatest supporters of darts, Peter Tilley.  Peter passed away this morning after suffering a recent stroke.

Originally from Wellingborough, Northants, England, the man known to his friends as “Peetah” moved to the US many years ago, and was enjoying retirement in Smyrna, TN, with his lovely wife Marie.

A familiar face at major ADO events, Peter was also heavily involved in the North America Women’s Dart Association. The NWADA was due to stage the 2020 North American Women’s Darts Championship last month, but sadly, it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to our wonderful sport, Peter’s other great love was Manchester United, and only two weeks ago, he was delighted to see United qualify for this coming season’s Champions League.

 We’ll all miss you, mate…
