It appears that there has been some confusion regarding the forthcoming Washington Area Open, and its status with the World Darts Federation (WDF).

WDF ranking is separated into different levels, each based on purse. The Washington Area Open has a Bronze level purse, and was submitted as as a Bronze level event. The WDF inadvertently listed the tournament as a Silver level event. This has now been corrected.
