Tomorrow (Thursday) sees the start of the 2024 BetVictor World Cup of Darts, one of the highlights of the PDC calendar. Once again, it is being held at the Eissporthalle in Frankurt, Germany.

The event features pairs from no fewer than 40 nations. Four teams are seeded to the second round, where they will join the twelve winners from round-robin groups. The US is represented by the formidable duo of Danny Lauby and Jules van Dongen, who at first glance appear to have benefited from a favourable draw against Portugal and Italy. Only time will tell, though.

Jules and Danny kick off tomorrow night against Portugal, with the remaining group matches played on Friday.
