Betgoodwin World Seniors Championship

Tomorrow (Wednesday) sees the start of the 2025 Betgoodwin World Seniors Darts Championship at the renowned Circus Tavern in Purfleet. The 28-player event brings together some of the biggest names in darts, including no fewer than EIGHT World Champions!

The tournament also features an American, Leonard Gates. The Texan already has an impressive string of seniors titles to his name, but this is one that is missing – so far. The man known to his friends as ‘Soulger’ has a first-round bye (being one of the Top Four seeds), and doesn’t play until Friday. He faces the winner of the Kevin Edwards/Mike Huntley clash.

The action tomorrow night kicks off with the appearance of Canadian legend John Part, who takes on Jim McEwan. The session concludes with an intriguing tussle between Tony O’Shea and four-time Women’s World Champ, Lisa Ashton.

Thursday showcases former World Champions Trina Gulliver, Richie Burnett, Steve Beaton, Martin Adams, and Neil Duff.
