2024 World Championship Qualifiers

Well, World Masters week is over. From an American point of view, the week started well with Jason Brandon’s run to the quarter-final of the Masters. The next few days proved a trifle disapponting results-wise, but we ended with a flourish!

None of our youth players were able to put in an extended run in the Lakeside Playoffs, but that changed today in the senior’s qualifiers! The Emerald City D.O.’s Jeff Springer Jr. made the long trip from Seattle worthwhile, with a brilliant day of darts that culminated in him qualifying for Lakeside!

While Springer was the only American to qualify, Elliot Milk fell just short of making it, while Dustin Holt, Levi Kransel, Emily Kaufhold, and Aaja Jalbert can be justly proud of their efforts, just one round back.

One player who was missing from the line-up today was Washington state’s Kevin Luke, as he was this week confirmed as qualifying for Lakeside via the WDF rankings.
