IMPORTANT – ADO and WDF Updates

Updated: February 20, 2021

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt darts worldwide, it is with great reluctance that we must report two major developments.

Firstly, the ADO World Masters National Finals, scheduled to be held in Charlotte, NC, on April 16-18, has been cancelled. At the moment, it is still possible for the associated Charlotte Open will still be held, but we will publish any updates as they become available.

As a reminder, all players who have qualified for an ADO National Finals, but have not been able to play due to event cancellation, will have their spots carried over to the first available National Finals.

Still with the Charlotte Open, if it does go ahead as planned, it will not be ranked by the World Darts Federation (senior or youth). Having already decided that there would not be any WDF-ranked tournaments worldwide in January or February, that policy has now been extended through May 31, 2021.

Finally, the White Mountain Shootout in New Hampshire, scheduled for April 9-11, will not be ADO-ranked, and there will be no youth events, as is traditional.
