At the ADO Board of Directors Meeting today it was decided to introduce a new rule with immediate effect.

For years, tournament flyers had to publish exact payouts per event, but the published totals di not have to match the event payouts exactly. The total of individual even payouts could come to a total of $10,065, and the total purse could simply be listed as “$10,000+”. That has changed with the following rule:

“Effective for tournaments in 2023 that haven’t been sanctioned yet. The dollar amount announced on the flyer as total prize money must match the summed amount from events listed on the payout schedule.”
