All in all, it was a successful day for Americans at the first day of the Winmau World Masters at De Bonte Wever in Assen! A total of 20 (yes, twenty!) players emerged from the round-robin groups to reach the knockout stages. Sadly, Kevin Luke and Jim Fitzsimmons have to face each other first round, as do Liz Tynan/Sandy Haas, and ClayAnna Brandon/Robin Curry, but with such a large representation, that is bound to happen.
