This Thursday (June 15) sees the start of the PDC’s 2023 World Cup of Darts, sponsored this year by My Diesel Claim. Held in Frankfurt, Germany, the event concludes on Sunday.

This year brings an extended field of 40 teams. The Top Four Ranked Nations – England, Netherlands, Wales, and Scotland – are seeded directly to the Top 16. They will be joined by the winners of twelve three-team groups.

The US will be represented by Jules van Dongen and Leonard Gates, and are drawn in Group F, alongside Denmark and # 10 seeds Austria. Their first match will be on Friday afternoon against the loser of Thursday’s Austria-Denmark clash, and their second will be on Friday evening against the winner.
